Padre Coffee's Indonesian Mandheling gains its name from the tribespeople of Sumatra's northern Tapanuli region, and is rich, smooth and sweet in the cup. In order to remove the caffeine from the coffee green bean, a processes called Swiss Water Decaffeination is used. The process is 100% chemical free, where the green beans are soaked in water and then carbon filtered, removing 99.9% of the caffeine, before being roasted as usual. Expect a rich and earthy brew with notes of dark chocolate and citrus.
