Hugo Riano has worked in coffee for 40 years. He began as a farm-hand, working across Colombia on different farms and teroirs. After years of working and saving he was able to purchase his own farm in Samaniego. On this farm he has raised his family of four and concentrates on his life's work in coffee. This coffee is hand picked by Hugo's family. It is rested for five hours before being pulped, then fermented for 16 hours, washed three times, and dried on raised beds. This rigorous processing produces a sparkling, complex, high quality coffee.
