Subscription Policy

Our subscription delivery frequency is available as a once a month or twice a month service.  Shop For Coffee Beans intend to order the coffee for our subscription customers from the roaster(s) on the first and third Friday of each month, so that delivery can occur the following week.  The maximum number of deliveries in a calendar year are 12 with a once a month subscription, and 24 with a twice a month subscription.

Subscription customers who commence their service prior to 9am (AEST) on the Wednesday immediately prior to the Friday when orders are place to the roaster(s) will be included in the next subscription mail out.  Subscription customers who commence their service after 9am (AEST) will be included in the subsequent delivery cycle.  Subscription cancellations will be based on the same schedule and cut off.  We reserve the right to alter this schedule as required due to Local, State and/or National holidays, as well as due to any unforeseen eventualities.

When purchasing a subscription service, the first payment will be charged on the day the subscription is purchased, with subsequent payments transacting on a monthly cycle on the same date.  For twice a month subscriptions, the first payment will be charged on the day the subscription is purchased, with the second monthly cycle transacting two weeks after the first cycle.  See examples:

  • Example 1: Monthly subscription
    • Brian purchased his subscription on the 3rd day of the month.  The first payment was charged on this day, with subsequent payments transacting on the 3rd day of each following month.
  • Example 2: Twice a month subscription
    • Leah purchased her subscription on the 5th day of the month.  The first payment was charged on this day, and the second payment was charged on the 19th day of that month.  Subsequent monthly transactions continue to recur on the 5th and 19th of each following month.

All transactions are debited in advance of shipping.  You are required to provide a valid credit card.

Coffee is a seasonal and organic product, and as such, we do not guarantee the availability or price of any and all the coffee beans that Shop For Coffee Beans has access to via our roaster network. Coffee bean selection will be based on consultation between Shop For Coffee Beans representatives and the coffee roaster(s).  Shop For Coffee Beans reserves the right to alter the price of the subscription services at any time, including the price of shipping.

We will take reasonable steps to contact you in the event of changes to our subscription products and policy.  Shop For Coffee Beans reserves the right at any time, with or without notice, to modify or discontinue the subscription service, temporarily or permanently.

Can I change my delivery address?

Yes, you can change your address, as well as your contact details, by logging in to My Account on our web site.

Can I alter the delivery frequency or quantity of the order?

Yes, simply email us by using the Contact Us form on our web site and provide your full name, email address, the details of your subscription and the details of your changes.  Note, requested changes will need to be within the parameters of the Subscription Policy to be approved.

How do I cancel my subscription?
